On September 25, 2026, an event dedicated to the National Organic Agriculture Day of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in Bishkek.
The Association took part as one of the organizers within the framework of the DMSOP project.
The theme of the conference was “Organic Kyrgyzstan — a Path to the Global Market”.
The event brought together representatives of government bodies and international organizations, farmers, cooperatives, processors, exporters, research institutions, youth and civil society.
The conference discussed the development of organic agriculture and public policy, the export potential of mountain and forest products, opportunities for bringing Kyrgyz organic products to international markets, certification and guarantee systems, adaptation of organic agriculture to climate change, and international experience in developing the organic sector.
Particular attention was paid to the export potential of mountain and forest products and to building sustainable businesses based on organic production — an area directly linked to the work of the DMSOP project.
The event became an important platform for exchanging experience, discussing practical solutions and developing proposals for the further development of organic agriculture in Kyrgyzstan for 2026–2027.
