The Association took part in the second Subregional Farmers’ Forum for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, held on 13–15 April 2026 in Kastamonu, Türkiye.
The Association took part in the second session of the Subregional Farmers’ Forum for Eastern Europe and Central Asia, held in the city of Kastamonu (Türkiye) from 13 to 15 April 2026.
Organized with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Türkiye, the event brought together farmer organizations, international institutions, and government bodies to discuss key areas of development, including sustainable agriculture, market access, climate resilience, digitalization, and innovation.
Particular attention was paid to the participation of the global network IFOAM – Organics International, which promotes organic agriculture and the principles of sustainable development.
The Association’s participation in such international dialogues helps strengthen partnerships, build the capacity of farmer organizations, and promote sustainable solutions for the region’s rural areas.
